MAXI K contains 180 micrograms of Vitamin K2 (MK-7) and 1400 international units of Vitamin D3, both of which are recognized to be necessary for adequate calcium absorption. Furthermore, recent study indicates that Vitamin K-dependent proteins are responsible for maintaining healthy tissues.

MK-7 stimulates osteocalcin, a protein that binds calcium to the mineral matrix in the bones, so strengthening them. MK-7 also enhances the function of osteoblasts, the bone-building cells, when combined with Vitamin D.
